No matter what happens, you'll see him again, whether it's here or back in your guys' home. But he might be ported back in again. A friend of mine got ported out recently, and I was pretty sad about it, but he just got brought back in again.

[And that had made him sad again, but for entirely different reasons.]

So we've got precedent for that, at least. And if he doesn't wind up coming back... [He tilts his head, considering. He's no mind reader, but he knows how isolating this place can feel, and how much it means to have a friend from home around.
