it's the first time this conversation that Killua pauses and thinks that maybe these two could be friends with each other already. Of course they would be, Gon makes friends really fast, right? But would they leave him behind? His brother's voice echoes through his head ("You aren't meant to have friends.") and he frowns, mentally swatting it away as best as he can. It's why there's a minute pause or so.]
